Bonnie 'Prince' Billy Debuts Short Film in Support of His Track for the Graham Nash Tribute Record 'Be Yourself'

ROBIN PECKNOLD, VETIVER, BRENDAN BENSON AND MORE CONTRIBUTE COVERS OF THE NASH CLASSICS

(((folkYEAH!))) Presents and Grassroots Record Co. have assembled an all-star line-up of indie artists such as Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Robin Pecknold (of Fleet Foxes), Brendan Benson (of The Raconteurs), Vetiver, Alela Diane, Sleepy Sun, Mariee Sioux & Greg Weeks (from Espers), Port O Brien with The Papercuts, Moore Brothers and Graham's own daughter, Nile Nash on "Be Yourself." All of these contemporary artists have come together to honor and celebrate Graham's first solo LP, Songs For Beginners.

The artists put a unique spin on each song, making it his or her own- most notably with Bonnie 'Prince' Billy's cover of "Simple Man" which he's renamed "Hombre Sencillo" and recorded entirely in Spanish. Today Pitchfork debuts the long form music video directed by (((folkYEAH!)))'s Britt Govea and Brian Ziffer. The short film was shot in a historic mission town and finds the Hombre Sencillo lost and haunted by his past but ultimately lead towards a new path of redemption.
